Growing up, except family and a select few friends, no one actually wished you on your birthday or any other special day. You couldn’t share your milestone achieved beyond a circle of close, known people. But today, you can have a wider reach, a much bigger audience. They are there to celebrate with you, share your sorrows and joys, console and pull you up.
Thanks to social media, life is not private anymore. Your special days attain a special sparkle when you are thought of and wished by people across the world. These are the small things that make any day brighter and make you smile even when you want to cry out loud. As humans we have our emotional needs and social media is the perfect partner. What would we have done without it, I sometimes wonder!!
